Carlo Ancelotti confirms Bellingham’s shoulder needs to be assessed ahead of Champions League clash against Braga.
Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti revealed Jude Bellingham will need an assessment after suffering a shoulder injury against Rayo Vallecano on Sunday.
During Madrid’s match against Rayo Vallecano in the first half, Bellingham fell down, holding his shoulder, but he decided to continue after getting treatment.
He played the entire ninety minutes, but in the end, he was spotted with a lot of strapping around his shoulder.
Following the game, Ancelotti stated that more testing is required to assess Bellingham’s injury’s seriousness.
“Bellingham has a problem with his shoulder. He will undergo medical tests tomorrow. I hope he can play on Wednesday against Braga,” he said after the contest.
Despite having 22 shots against Rayo, Madrid was unable to score. Bellingham was kept silent during the disappointing 0-0 stalemate, but he did hit the bar in the first half.
On Wednesday, Real Madrid takes on Braga in the Champions League, and Ancelotti is hoping to start his best player in the starting lineup.
