Nigerian lady shares how Davido’s Timeless saved her from paying house rent
A young Nigerian lady, known as Teetalk, has shared a heartwarming story of how Davido’s album “Timeless” saved her from paying house rent for an entire year.
Teetalk’s experience resonates with Davido’s recent revelation about the positive impact of his fourth studio album. The singer had shared on Twitter how his album turned things around for him.
In response to Davido’s tweet, Teetalk narrated her own encounter with the album. She recounted how she was playing “Timeless” in her apartment, not realizing that her landlord was listening to the music as well. Her landlord was apparently touched by the music and decided to waive her house rent for an entire year as a gesture of appreciation.
Teetalk shared that her landlord contacted her the following morning after playing “Timeless,” informing her that she was exempt from paying her house rent for the entire year.
She wrote, “I was playing “Timeless” unknowingly, and my landlord was listening. He called me the next morning, saying I was free not to pay rent this year. Timeless saved my life. Thank you David”.
