Falz answers to those who criticized his decision to get surgery overseas.
Nigerian rapper, actor and activist, Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz, has replied to the assaults on him following his recent knee surgery overseas.
Recall, Falz the Bad Guy, has requested prayers while he undergoes surgery. On his Instagram page on Wednesday, Falz made the demand in a video that is currently trending.
The rapper, who is also a political activist, claimed he hurt his knee playing football in November 2022 but didn’t realize it was a serious medical condition.
However, it was suggested that he undergo surgery to repair his knee.
The rapper requested prayers from his followers and peers in a video where he described his pre- and post-surgery experiences.
He said, “On the 23rd I went to play football and I sustained a knee injury.
And it’s pretty serious. On November 30th, 2022, I did my ACL. My MRI came back and it shows that there is a complete tear on my ACL. And I have been advised to go into surgery to fix it”.
He captioned it with, “Current situation. It’s a whole journey to being 100% back. Say a prayer for me.”
According to reports, Bashir, the son of Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, chastised the rapper-turned-activist for avoiding Nigerian hospitals and travelling to the United Kingdom for surgery.
