Everton have reportedly made a £45million offer to sign Conor Gallagher from Chelsea.
It happens just an hour after Sean Dyche was officially named Everton’s manager as the Toffees attempt to strengthen their squad following the loss of Anthony Gordon to Newcastle.
According to Italian football journalist Fabrizio Romano, Everton has offered £40 million with £5 million in add-ons.
The rumoured deal would cost exactly £40 million plus £5 million in add-ons, which is the price for which Anthony Gordon was sold to Newcastle.
Since other teams are also interested in Gallagher, the Blues will decide what to do with him soon.

Nottingham Forest, Southampton, Crystal Palace, and Newcastle United have all expressed interest in signing the 22-year-old England international, but it is believed that he wants to stay at Chelsea.
In order to compete for a regular first-team spot at Stamford Bridge, Gallagher returned to his parent club at the beginning of the summer after spending the previous campaign on loan at Crystal Palace.
Last season, the 22-year-old thrived under Patrick Vieira, contributing to Palace’s mid-table finish with eight goals and three assists.
Gallagher was believed to have no desire to quit Chelsea despite still being chosen to play for the first team after returning to Stamford Bridge.
Because of the growing injury issue in his team, Potter is also opposed to letting Gallagher go.
