    Tems has altered the course of Nigerian music as the first female musician from that country to receive not one, but two Grammy nominations as part of the entire list of nominees for the 65th Grammy Awards, which will be held on February 5, 2023.

    Tems received two significant nods for her work on the popular song “Wait For U,” which she co-wrote with Future and Drake. The singer was nominated in the categories of the prestigious awards for “Best Rap Song” and “Best Melodic Rap Performance.”

    Huge win for the singer whose vocals had many entrapped on the song following its release.

    Tems also received another nomination for the Album Of The Year as a featured artist on Beyonce’s ‘Renaissance’ album taking her total nominations for the Grammy Awards 2023 to 3 nominations.
