These are the top 5 artistes that people suddenly stopped listening to
Some of our artists have their own unique ways of reaching us and of exploiting the love that everyone has for them to provide the same for us, and here are the top 5 artistes that people suddenly stopped listening to.
We may not know how genuine certain people’s talents are because they have simply been overhyped.
Some of the themes aren’t very talented, and some weren’t meant to be as successful as they are. Some may only be constructed to blow and below.
While some merely cover other artists’ hits or plagiarize verses from other artists in an effort to acquire attention, they simply swap rhythms and keep repeating their previous verses.
Recently, something was mentioned about the current rave, but I won’t identify names to avoid Gbas Gbos!
He claimed that you could sing along to all of his songs on any of their beats. You must be aware of who it is and the possibility that he will soon join this list.
Below is the list of top 5 artistes we got tired of listening to
Lil Kesh
He has always been a subject of repeating rhymes and flows in his songs after his glorious shoki days.
All he does now in his songs is say vulgar things, claims his songs is are meant for appreciating and motivating hustlers but he fails to get motivated.
There was more to it when he released “Nkan Be” but could not live up to the hype.
No doubt Lil Kesh is good but I think he needs to Explore more with his sounds.
Slimcase
As for Slimcase, all he does is just say the same old thing that brought him to light back then.
After making a wave with his debut single “Oshozondi” in 2017, Slimcase was seen as one of the very few artistes that will shake the music scene with his style of music. but the reverse was the case.
His much-hyped songs with Wizkid were promised to be a hit and we could barely hear him talk at all.
In a bid to be relevant again, he recently released “Lamba Xtra” but regardless of how interesting the song was, it lost relevance and attention in the 3rd week.
Ycee
Omo Alhaji is also on this table as well.
He is just one artiste that got everyone shocked because he started off so well with his debut single Jagaban and he got the likes of Olamide to jump on his song for the remix.
YCee‘s talent was so raw but his style is just too different that someone might barely hear what he is saying.
If you are not audible enough, Nigerians will dump you. People plenty wey dey sing abeg!
Ice Prince
At a point in the Music industry, Ice Prince was seen as a direct competition to everyone including those we see as legends now. His versatility, exposure, rap game, flow, appearance and everything were on point.
Ice Prince Zamani Sings to everyone’s satisfaction until we realized he started talking about EFCC chasing his guys, designers, and all other irrelevant things.
It took no time before everyone switched to artistes who are ready to give us new trends and relevant content.
Mr Real
Mr Real has not made any tangible effort in terms of dropping a single to complement his found fame in 2017. All we got is “Legbegbe Remix“.
Maybe, he will drop another song when another celebrity enters the computer village to steal Apple Laptop.
Recently he released “Oloun” but Nigerians have switched tastes on his products.
