Singer, Simi is one of Nigeria’s leading songstress who has been in the limelight for over 5 years with no bad songs.
Clocking into a new age, Mp3bullet takes insight into Afropop singer’s career, Simi as an artist with no bad songs.
Nigeria has produced a truckload of great artists, engaging different genres and styles, many of which have impacted and transported the Afrobeats sound globally.
Simi predominantly dominates the Afropop and R&B stand – matching to the A-list alongside Tiwa Savage, Waje, and the likes.
Although she has been in the industry since 2006, she started getting due relevance in 2014. All thanks to her ‘Tiff’, a song that was nominated for The Headies 2015’s Best Alternative Song.
So far, Simi has released several mega-tunes with the guarantee of dropping more now and in the future! Taking a swipe at some of her songs:
Duduke
Simi released this mid-tempo pop tune on April 16th, 2020, with an Afrobeats sound and a twist on R&B.
The song, which was produced by Oscar, is based on the sound that the artist’s heart produces when she thinks of her love interest. According to the artist, “Duduke” refers to the beat of a heart or drum, and she utilizes a beat to describe her unborn child’s heartbeat, whom she refers to as a guardian angel, in the song.

Joromi
Simi gifted us with this amazing song in August of 2017. It’s the second track on her Simisola album.
Since her debut, this has been one of my favorite songs by the artist. The flow of live strings and sensation is top-notch.
Ayo (Simi songs)
After the release of “Promise” with AG Baby, this is her first solo single of 2019.
She released this song while she was on her honeymoon with her husband, Adekunle Kosoko.
Legendury Beatz produced “Ayo,” which signifies (joy).
Jamb Question
Simi returned with ‘Jamb Question,’ following the popularity of her past two singles in 2015, “Tiff” and “E no go funny.”
Simi’s excellent vocals are featured on the beautiful instrumental composed by Oscar Herman-Ackah in this afro-pop song. In addition, the following year, she released a remix with Falz.
Love Don’t Care (Simi songs)
Simi demonstrated a deeper definition of the term love: it is concerned for the welfare of others, regardless of their status, religion, or ethnicity.
This is a tune from 2016, and it’s one of the best so far! Simi mixed and mastered the single, which was produced by Oscar with additional production (guitar) by Fiokee.
