Mercy Chinwo reacts after a fan informs her that she is a victim of domestic violence.
Gospel Singer, Mercy Chinwo has reacted to a fan who shared that she is also experiencing domestic violence in her home.
Mercy had posted the picture of Late Osinachi Nwachukwu on her page with the caption, “It is Well”.
Recall that news of Osinachi’s death flooded the social media space on Saturday.
The gospel music musician, who rose to prominence with the tune “Ekwueme,” which has been viewed more than 72 million times on YouTube, died on Saturday in an Abuja hospital.
Initially, the talented Abuja-based gospel act was said to have died of a mysterious disease.
Close friends and allies, on the other hand, have speculated that her tumultuous union was the cause of her untimely demise.
They also accused the Ekwueme singer’s husband of molesting and abusing her on a regular basis.
Frank Edwards, a colleague of hers, claimed on Saturday that the late singer had an abusive husband who often brutalised her before she died.

Celebrities like Mercy Chinwo took to Instagram to mourn her death. A Fan took to Mercy’s comment section to confess to being a victim of domestic violence and the Gospel Singer was shocked.
Reacting, the “Excess Love” crooner wrote;
You are going through the same what? and you are still there??? I don’t get it.

The late Osinachi was a lead singer at the Dunamis International Gospel Centre. She was featured in several popular gospel songs like “Nara Ekele” by Pastor Paul Enenche (Dunamis, Abuja) and “You no dey use me play” by Emma.
She is survived by four children and her family.
