Mp3bullet.ng shares insight into the remarkable and splendid year Reekado Banks has had with a full return into his long-lost glory and fame.

Young and vibrant, Reeky gained appearance into stardom with his 2014 ‘Turn It Up‘ single, under his former label, Mavin.

A year later, he returned with his Katapot vibe, which finally catapulted him into the superstar mode.

Since then, he has been on the top 10 lists of Nigerian artistes to look out for whenever a new year and new song approaches.

Having bagged several awards and established his tough fanbase, Reekado made a jellied spot, dropping back-to-back hits and projects.

Reekado Banks returns to his glory & fame with a splendid yearAll fame and glory shrunk when the singer disengaged himself from the Mavin platform in 2018, having to become his own boss with his label.

Although he was not a total write-off, he couldn’t pull the years and musical sorcery he had established already, and so, his sound was on the brink of extinction.

Not until Reekado made his way back into our minds and hearts with his 2021 smash deliveries! To be honest, this year has been in all of his favours.

In 2021, he made his way into some of the hottest tracks from buzzing artistes, like Ric Hassani’s ‘Here‘, then rendering his vocals on Seyi Vibe‘s ‘Pay Day‘ remix and many more.

Haven created a sub-conscious relevance in the mind of his sleeping fans, Reekado Banks finally unveiled his Reeky-sound with the instant smash, “Ozumba Mbadiwe.”

Being his debut single of the year, the P.prime production came with a calculated timing and strategy.

While expressional, and intentional in his lyrics and flow, Banks made an easy attempt into securing his long-lost glory and fame!

Like the affection of a broken-hearted spouse, the song which was in reference to the #LekkiEndSars massacre bonded Reeky and his fans together.

It was phenomenal, witnessing Reekado Banks give us entertainment, motivation, and vibes in one song!

He didn’t stop there, as he unveiled a body of work to corroborate with his already-shining star single.

(OTR) EP Vol. 2, came in as a five-track production and was received with lots of positive reviews.

Securing over 3 million streams on Audiomack, Banks became the topic of discussion for weeks, also topping charts on Apple Ng!

Now, as the year comes to an end, it is safe to say, Reekado Banks has come, seen, and conquered!

As the popular saying goes, “the ending of a thing is better than the beginning”, this has Reekado achieved smoothly and profitably!
