Ckay has received his first plaque for his global smash song, Love Nwantiti after selling 200,000 units in the UK.
Ckay has earned another certification after his song, “Love Nwantiti” sold 200,000 units in the UK and was certified silver.
The singer came to Instagram to share the good news with his friends and followers.
The TikTok anthem is the second NigerianL song to reach silver status in 2021, following Wizkid’s Essence.
His friends and colleagues, including Davido and Zlatan, swamped his comment area with congratulations after he announced the news.
American musician, Neyo, congratulated him on his huge triumph as well.
Recall that mp3bullet.ng reported that the song was certified platinum in France, making it the first Nigerian song to achieve the accolade.
The song’s recent successes have resulted in other accomplishments for the singer, such as receiving a gold accreditation in France.

The song was not the first Nigerian song to be certified Gold since Rema’s Dumebi did so a few weeks before him.
The singer also broke into the top 100 of Spotify’s artist rankings after becoming the first African musician to surpass 20 million monthly listeners.
That number is growing by the day, and the singer has now reached a new record of over 30 million monthly Spotify listeners.
His ranking on the app has also risen, with the musician breaking into the Top 60 list.
