British-Nigerian singer and songwriter Mohammed Animashaun, also known as Moelogo, has slammed Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie over music credits.
Sarkodie had recently released his much anticipated ‘No Pressure‘ album and on one of the songs, Moelogo’s name was excluded as a featured artist which sparked a social media frenzy.
On Sarkodie’s album, Moelogo’s vocals were prominent in the song “Fireworks,” which also featured American rapper Wale.
The album, which was released on Friday, July 30th, 2021, listed Moelogo as a co-writer but not as a featured artist, despite the fact that the talented singer clearly delivered a beautiful hook and verse on the song.
In response to the situation, Moelogo turned to Twitter today, August 3rd, 2021, to attack Sarkodie and his crew, claiming that he had been cheated. He expressed himself as follows:
“The problem we have as people is we think it’s ok to use people or not credit people because we’re cool”

“For those who don’t know, if you sing a chorus your name should be there as a FEATURED ARTIST. If you write a song then you should be put in credits. Unless there’s a prior & signed agreement that the artist will be a ghost. Common sense is not common.
I wait before I react, I don’t believe in dragging. I believe in doing what is right always & my stance can never change Part alternation mark
When you’re the underdog and you fight for yourself and what is right, there will always be an issue, the underdog is always the bad guy. I keep to myself, I am the only one fighting for myself. This is how I eat. It is not a joke.”
