    2021 Grammy Awards Postponed Due To COVID-19

    2021 Grammy Awards scheduled to hold on January 31st, has been postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

    In a statement contained from the Grammy’s Twitter page, the 63rd Grammy Awards have been postponed to Sunday, March 14, 2021.

    The awards presentation which was supposed to hold in California, was reconsidered because of the rising cases of Covid19.

    Recording Academy tweeted;

    “After thoughtful conversations with health experts, our host and artists scheduled to appear, we are rescheduling the 63rd #GRAMMYs to be broadcast Sunday, March 14, 2021.”

    In addition, the Grammys have released a full statement and reasons for the sudden postponement of the awards.

    The Grammy is an award presented by the Recording Academy to recognize achievements in the music industry.

    It is an annual presentation ceremony, that features performances  by prominent artistes.

    It is worthy to note that, since its inception, Nigerian artistes have either been nominated or given proper recognition.
