Whether it’s Music, Movie, Law, Activism, Falz has proven he is multi-talented and can do it all.
Falz stole people’s hearts after his breakthrough song, “Marry Me” put him in the spotlight. His faux yoruba accent was endearing that it wasn’t hard to fall in love with him.
The Rapper who is born to Popular activist and Lawyer, Femi Falana brought a different style to Rap and carved his own niche.
The Brillant rapper also became the first artist to win an AMVCA with his comic role as Sege in the Popular comedy sitcom ‘Jenifa Diary’.
The Lawyer turned Rapper turned 30 years on the 27th of October and we take a memory lane into our top 10 favorite songs released by him.

Hypocrite ft Demmie Vee
“Everybody is a motherfuckin’ hypocrite” sings Demmie Vee. “Hypocrite” is a commentary on how everyone seems to be the same thing we complain about.
In this song, Falz holds no prisoner as he lays out how people practice hypocrisy unawares.
Something Light ft Ycee
One of my personal favorite from Falz, “Something Light” is a comic song that is easy to rap to.
Featuring Ycee, the song takes a jab at Women who see dates as another feeding venture but still pretend to not like food.
Soldier ft Simi
Falz and Simi will go down in history as one of the best collaboration duos the Nigerian Music Industry saw .
There was this chemistry their music carried that got everyone thinking they were dating (Imagine the shock when it was revealed that Simi was dating Adekunle Gold)
Out of the many songs these two released together, “Soldier” is a favorite. This is more like a play as it tells the story of a Soldier who is trying to woo his love interest who can’t seem to stand him.
The lyrics are funny, lighthearted, and easy to follow.
