Dakolo who took to his social media page to reveal that he had been getting messages from rape victims said that most women are dressed up in nice clothes but carry the burden of abuse around.

It will be recalled that Timi Dakolo’s wife had last year accused Biodun Fatoyebi, the Head Pastor of Common Wealth of Zion Assembly of rape.

Dakolo who seemed excited as women summons courage to speak up against rapist and share their horrible experiences said that women are now finding their voices.

Taking to his social media page to express his excitement, Timi Dakolo wrote:

I think people are listening now, women are finding their voices. I just opened my Dm today and it is littered with broken women sharing their stories. They are all dressed up in nice clothes but carrying around the burden of abuse and an excruciating pain.. #rapeculture
