Sensational Nigerian singer Mr Eazi has taken to his social media page to pay tribute to Nigerian musical icon majek Fashek who died at the early hours of today.
Taking to his twitter page to pen down the tribute, Mr Eazi in a series of tweets narrated how he used to Watch Majek Fashek while growing up.
Mr Eazi in his tribute further said that he was motivated by the late music icon a decade ago.
Taking to his social media page to pen down a tribute to the legendary singer who was confirmed dead at the early hours of today, Mr Eazi wrote:
12 hours ago, at my dinner table I suddenly had the Urge to Play & Gyrate & share Majecks records from “ I come from the ghetto” to “ “African Unity” a true Legend & inspiration, both Lyrically & Sonically!
I remember watching Him perform on the Late Night show in 91/92 and that inspired me of the possibility to do same & I ended up doing the following Year! Saying to my self “if Majeck could do it maybe I can” Your messages stand Legit even Now as we fight Inequality & injusticeLong Live the “Prisoner of Conscience” Hero & custodian of Light!!!
