Narrating his ordeal with the defunct music group May D in the live Instagram interview said:
Like it just happened one day and i was given a contract by Jude and it was when their mum just died and i was like let’s bury your mum first before we go into any contract. He didn’t want to listen he was like we have to look into this contract right now and i was like ok . But you guys promised me that you were not going to give me any contract that immediately i blow up in my career I should just move on and use their platform.
I had a couple of deals with Akon in America, they knew about it, they didn’t want me to pull out with those deals at the end of the day everything just went down from there.
We never had any contract… there was no contract at all from the beginning because they didn’t really believe in me like that they were just like, I was always asking for a contract and they were just like no no need that when you make your money, how much do we want to make from you, when you make your money you can go and run your thing.
and i started doing my thing and I’m blowing up then you now give me a contract.
