Pledging to assist victims of the Abule Ado explosion, Mr. P wrote:

In the last couple of hours, having seen videos and sent messages about the explosion in Abule Ado, Amuwo Odofin LGA. My heart bleeds and I hope the first responders were able to get there on time. I’m particularly concerned about the students of the Bethlehem Girls Catholic School that’s been ravaged by this unfortunate incident.
I’m appealing to the necessary organisations and individuals in charge to do their best to save as many lives as possible and I’m willing to assist in any way I can as well.
    Please be safe guys!

It will be recalled that the media space was taken agog by the news of the explosion that rocked the Abule Ado area of Festac.

Though there has not been confirmation of the numbers of casualties, it is rumoured that scores of lives and properties were lost.
