Burna Boy bags three mega awards at 2019’s AFRIMA awards.
The BET star and Grammy nominee seizes to end his award collecting Marathon, as he wins three awards at the All Africa music awards
The sixth edition of this very prestigious award show was held yesterday night, being the 23rd of November at Eko Hotel, Lagos.
Aside from the honourary presence the minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed was also graced by several talented musicians all over Africa.
However, there was a slight spoilsport as most of our very own Nigerian artists failed to attend the event, although some were represented by their distinguished managers.
Despite his absence, the African giant made away with three mega awards;

African Artiste of the year,

Best Male artiste in West Africa,

Best album of the year with his "African giant" album.
The “African giant” mega album was also nominated at the 62nd edition of Grammy awards under “Best pop album category “
This is coming after stealing the show at this year’s music scene and winning big at almost all music and entertainment awards held this year.
Performers at the event include Congolese musician, Awilo Logomba and popular Nigerian singer; 2Baba who also went home with a special recognition award.

The event was surely a remarkable one and ended on a beautiful note.
