See the full list of Nigerian Artists, who are likely to win a Grammy at 2020’s Grammy award.
The prestigious Grammy award show; 62nd edition of its kind is here again!.
This time, it will be held on the 26th of January, and us to be hosted by Popular US singer and pianist; Alicia Keys.
2020’s edition of this show is, however, a game-changer for the Nigerian music industry.
Aside from the fact that our very own Burna Boy was nominated for his album; “African giant“, other Nigerian artists also have chances of winning, though not directly.
We at “Mp3bullet.ng” can vividly recall that Popular African American Singer; Beyonce featured a couple of Nigerians in her mega album; “The Lion King: The Gift”
The album which was released on the 19th of July 2019 stars 6 Nigerian artists, and 4 artists from other African countries like; South Africa, Cameroon, and Ghana.
Nigerian Afrobeats singer; Niniola was also mildly involved in the project for writing the track; “Find your way back”
Amazingly Queen Bey’s album was nominated, at the Grammys for “Best pop vocal album”.
Nominated alongside Beyonce’s album was Billie Eilish’s “When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go”, Ariana Grande’s “Thank U Next”, Ed Sheeran’s “No 6 Collaboration project”, and Taylor swift‘s “Lover”.
Now, it is of common knowledge that any song or project which is nominated is credited not just to the owner, but to all other contributors of the project.
Take, for instance, an album. Not just the owner of the album, but other featured acts also wins a grammy, after being nominated.
