    With Mavin, We are stronger together - Korede BelloRumours have been spreading lately about Korede Bello exiting his well known record label, Mavin Records that he was signed to.

    As you all know, this label brought him to the limelight, and he has remained loyal to the label since he’s been with them.

    Lately in the Nigeria music industry, artistes hardly finish their deals before floating their own record labels, while some do ignore contract renewals after little fame.

    In the case of the Mr Vendor singer, reverse happens to be the case here, he’s not ready to quit repping the label anytime soon.

    In Korede Bello’s words:

    “I am a boss of my own and I don’t need to prove that to anyone. I also don’t need to prove that by leaving Mavin Records to set up my own label. With Mavin, we are stronger together. If you listen to my new song Mr Vendor, you will know that i’m still with Mavin.”

    “With Joko, we did a social media challenge and gave N2.5m to the winners. We didn’t just give them money, we gave them a platform. You don’t need to sign artistes before you help them. You can just support them with your platform by posting or saying something nice about their songs” he said.
    With his expression on this interview, it shows the Nigerian singer is wise and not rushing anything as regards his movements in the music scenes.
