Oftentimes nature has its way of preparing us for whatever the future holds, whether good or bad. The beautiful thing about this side of nature is the acceptance that comes with it.
In the wee hours of yesterday, news broke out of the death of the promising young rapper Oladipupo Oladimeji otherwise known as Oladips.
The 28-year-old passed on the day before at 10pm and this was met with mixed reactions, being a fact the music industry lost a vibrant street-hop act, Mohbad, two months back.
Oladips was one who knew what his future holds and at that helm, documented his Memoir like he who foresaw the light.
The title of the project, “Superhero Adugbo” is a 17-track compilation of the rapper’s “autobiography”. It sheds insight into his struggles, desires joyful moments and goals for accomplishments.
The rapper was an embodiment of zeal, a cross road of words for the down thinkers and a motivator for the up-thinkers.
He stood in-between the balance of hard work and talent but never had the second chance to prove himself. Perhaps, this is all he needed to show forth.
The album which is now available for streaming on all music platforms, features Nigerian street rapper, Trod, as the only guest artist, and includes singles such as Die Young, Motivation, Ori, and Legend, among others.
His “Dipsciples” can now carry on his legacy as he journeys into the realm of the gods.
