Phyno teases exceptional music video for new single, ‘Do I’
Nigerian rapper Phyno has unveiled an electrifying sneak peek of his hit track “Do I” music video, accompanied by the official release date announcement.
The head honcho of Penthauze Records shared this exciting news via his Instagram page on October 5.
In his post, he not only confirmed the release date of the music video but also credited the director, Praise Onyeagwalam, widely known as Director Pink.
Notably, Director Pink, one of Nigeria’s few female directors, recently bagged the prestigious Best Video Director award at AFRIMMA. The announcement was succinctly delivered in a post that exclaimed, “Do I Video Out on Monday!!! Dey Play.”
Anticipation is running high for the video, set to drop on October 9, 2023. Responsible for the production magic behind “Do I” is the immensely talented music producer Jaysynths.
Phyno’s lyrical prowess has garnered respect from fellow artists like Nasty C, who view him as a muse for their own musical creativity. “Do I” originally hit the airwaves on September 1, 2023, signaling Phyno’s return to the music scene after taking a hiatus to embrace fatherhood following the birth of his newborn.
The teaser for the upcoming music video promises a fusion of vibrant rhythms, an infectious chorus, and impressive dance moves. “Do I” marks Phyno’s second musical offering of 2023, following his earlier release, “Ojemba,” featuring Olamide.
