I Created The New Afrobeat Sound With Wizkid, Producer Samklef Strikes A-Bomb.
With Grammy-winning artist Wizkid, Nigerian music producer Samklef has claimed that they invented the new Afrobeat sound.
On June 8, 2023, the great producer—who helped create Wizkid’s early smash songs including “Don’t Dull,” “Tease Me,” and “Pakurmo” said as much in a brand-new tweet.
Samkle boasted in the post that he and Wiz are the co-creators of the “new Afrobeat sound [sic],” which is currently popular all over the world. People who believe otherwise risk hitting their heads against the wall, he said.
He said that Google will assist such individuals in properly locating the genuine inventors of the “new Afrobeat sound,” which he attributed Wizkid and myself for inventing.
Samkle included a vintage photo of himself and Big Wiz with his message. The image is from a vintage music video for them.
‘The original creators of the new Afrobeat sound! Nack ur head for wall when u see this post. Samklef x wizkid. Go do ur home work guys. Google is there to help u. Aw! Aw!’, he posted.
