2022/23 FA Cup quarter-final draw: Man Utd, Man City & Grimsby learn fate.
The 2022-23 FA Cup quarter-final draw has been announced, as clubs continue to learn about their possible paths to the Wembley final.
Manchester United and Manchester City avoided each other in the FA Cup quarter-final draw, which took place after the conclusion of the fifth-round ties on Wednesday night.
United defeated fellow Premier League side West Ham in the final eight of the competition, while Pep Guardiola’s City defeated Bristol City of the Championship 24 hours earlier on Tuesday.
United will host Fulham at home, while City will host Burnley.

Due to the pairing of second-tier teams Sheffield United and Blackburn, there will undoubtedly be at least one non-Premier League side participating in the semi-finals at Wembley.
After eliminating struggling Southampton from the Premier League, League Two’s Grimsby must travel to the south coast to take on high-flying Brighton, potentially just 90 minutes away from Wembley.

The four FA Cup quarter-finals are due to take place on the weekend of 18/19 March 2023.
