Achraf Hakimi’s lawyer issues statement after PSG defender is accused of sexual assault.
Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) superstar Achraf Hakimi is accused of sexual assault, and his lawyer, Fanny Colin, has released a statement in response.
Colin has vowed to support the probe wholeheartedly and stated that Hakimi is innocent.
Hakimi has been charged with sexual assault. Hakimi was a key player in making Morocco the first African country to compete in a FIFA World Cup semi-final, which took place in Qatar last year.
La Parisien first reported that the right-back was being investigated by police for sexually abusing a woman; this information has subsequently been confirmed by a number of sources. The Nanterre prosecutor’s office is in charge of the probe, according to CNN.
