Qatari group convinced they can purchase Manchester United as they prepare a massive offer.
A massive offer for Manchester United is being prepared by a consortium of Qatari investors, who think it will outpace all other bids for the Premier League powerhouse.
The club’s present owners, the Glazer family, are trying to sell but have set a deadline for offers to be submitted for mid-February, and it seemed doubtful that a deal would occur before then.
However, The Daily Mail report that a group of ‘private, high-wealth individuals’ from Qatar are prepared to make a huge offer in the coming days and are ready to give Erik ten Hag a vast transfer budget if they do take over the club.
The Qatari group are not the only interested party, with Jim Ratcliffe making his intention to buy the club known.

The Ineos billionaire, and one of Britain’s richest men, is a Manchester United fan and maybe a preferable choice for some fans, but the offer from Qatar could be far bigger than his.
The Glazers are seeking roughly £6 billion for Manchester United, so whoever buys the team will need to come up with a staggering sum of money.
Then, in addition to the ongoing expense of adding new players each year, there will be a large price to renovate Old Trafford or construct a new stadium.
Those massive figures are not thought to be a concern for the Qataris, though.
There could be issues for the group, though, with new owners needing Premier League approval and doubts will be held due to Qatar’s poor human rights record.
However, Newcastle was bought by Saudi Arabian investors in 2021, transforming them into Champions League contenders while human rights concerns appeared to have little impact.
