M.I Abaga
On Saturday, September 24, 2022, Jude Abaga, commonly known as M.I, wed his fiancée, Eniola Mafe, in a church ceremony.
The rapper, better known as The Guy, had traditionally tied the wedding on Thursday, September 23, 2022.
Fellow superstars like Banky W, Adesua Etomi-Wellington, Basketmouth, IK Osakioduwa, and others showed up in large numbers to the events.
Mercy Chinwo
On June 23, 2022, Mercy Chinwo unexpectedly surprised her followers by announcing her engagement to Blessed Uzochikwa, the resident pastor at WaterBrook Church in Lagos.
A day after their traditional wedding in Port Harcourt, the capital of Rivers State, the couple exchanged vows in a church ceremony on Saturday, August 13, 2022.

Timothy Godfrey, professionally known as Tim Godfrey, not only found the love of his life but also married her.
On February 16, Tim Godfrey posted an Instagram announcement about becoming engaged to his beau, adding a hint of suspense by withholding her identity.
The father of one introduced his fiancee as Anambra State native Erica Katrina Jones a month later.

Nikki Laoye and Soul Snatcha
On March 18, Nikki Laoye and fellow musician Kunle Adeyoola, aka Soul Snatcha, got married.
Nikki posted photos of the ceremony on her Instagram feed, thanking everyone who helped make it a success.
In addition, she extended special gratitude to her husband’s and her own families for attending the intimate ceremony.
Their marriage also generated lots of reactions from Nigerians, as they congratulated both singers for their successful union.

It was reported that Davido and his fiancee, Chioma Rowland tied the knot days after the death of their son, Ifeanyi.
Although the news hasn’t been confirmed, the two were spotted wearing wedding bands at the inauguration of Davido’s uncle, Ademola Adeleke in Osun State.

Mr Eazi: The singer, songwriter and label boss earlier in the year proposed to his long-term girlfriend, Temi Otedola.
Temi posted a short video of Mr Eazi proposing to her by a waterfront with no caption on social media.
Immediately her comment section was flooded with congratulatory posts from family and friends who have been anticipating their engagement for a while now.
Seyi Shay: The “Big Girl” singer who welcomed a child this year earlier in the year stated that she said “YES!” in an interview with Beat FM.
The interviewer inquired about the diamond ring on her finger and how she acquired it.
Showing off the ring, she responded, “Some guy gave it to me and said, ‘hey, would you marry me?’
“It’s a diamond ring for real, and it’s forever.”
DJ Cuppy: Temi Otedola isn’t the only one from the Otedola clan to get a ring this year. In November, a video which went viral on social media showed the moment a British Youtuber/boxer, Ryan Taylor proposed to the DJ at the Gumball awards in Dubai.
