Tems, Ckay, other Nigerian artists make history on the Billboard 2022 End Of The Year charts
Here is a complete list of all the Nigerian artists who made history by appearing on the Billboard 2022 end-of-year charts.
It is impossible to overstate the appeal of the Afrobeats genre, as was demonstrated by the fact that six different Nigerian singers cracked the top 10 Billboard 2022 end-of-year charts.
Tems and CKay, on the other hand, created history in 2022 when they became the first Nigerian artists to appear on multiple charts.
With his popular song “Love Nwantiti,” CKay made his appearance on three separate Billboard 2022 end-of-year lists.
He appeared on the Hot 100 chart at number 55 with ‘Love Nwantiti‘ befo re making an appearance on the Global 200 chart at number 17 with the same hit song.
The surprise, however, came when he became the only Nigerian artist to appear on the Artists 100 chart at number 98.
