Chelsea target Rafael Leao has spoken out about his future with Serie A club AC Milan.
The forward player has been in good form for both AC Milan and Portugal. However, there are reports that scouts from Chelsea are in Qatar as they look to sign the player from Milan.
Over the past four seasons, Leao has been among AC Milan’s most important players, scoring 34 goals in 135 games for the Italian powerhouse.
The 23-year-old was named Serie A Footballer of the Year and Most Valuable Player after playing a significant part in AC Milan’s title triumph last season.

Leao’s contract is set to expire in 2024, and Premier League clubs Chelsea and United are eager to sign him when the transfer window reopens in January following the World Cup. However, AC Milan is demanding at least £87 million.
He was speaking while on duty with the Portuguese national team during the present FIFA World Cup in Qatar. According to the youngster, after the World Cup is done, he will debate his future with AC Milan.
I will speak to AC Milan about my contract situation once the World Cup is over. We had a positive meeting with Paolo Maldini before the World Cup, it was a good one – we’ll enter into details after the break.
