    Diego Simeone opens up about his future at Atletico Madrid

    Diego Simeone, the manager of Atletico Madrid, has discussed his future with the team after failing to advance through the first round of the UEFA Champions League.

    Atletico Madrid can only finish in third place no matter the result of the final group game of the season. However, they will be joined by Barcelona, Juventus, and Sevilla in the Europa League.

    The Argentine was speaking following the tie-game against Bayer Leverkusen. He claims that despite the current circumstances, he has no plans to leave the club anytime soon. He said:

    It is the hardest moment but I’m going to continue insisting on this club to get something we need, such as the Champions League.
