Afrobeats megastar Davido has finally reacted after emerging as one of the most talked-about names at the 2026 Grammy Awards, despite not taking home a trophy that night.

As conversations from the awards ceremony continued to trend on social media, fresh data from X (formerly Twitter) showed that the Nigerian hitmaker was among the Top Mentioned Artists at the Grammys. Davido’s name featured prominently alongside global superstars such as Bad Bunny and Lady Gaga, underscoring just how much attention he commanded throughout the event.

While chart-topping records like “APT.” by ROSÉ and Bruno Mars dominated streaming conversations, Davido dominated the timeline. From his red-carpet appearance to his presence inside the Crypto.com Arena, fans and critics alike kept his name in circulation all night long.

Reacting in his signature laid-back style, the Unavailable crooner chose humour over hype. Taking to social media, Davido posted, “E FIMILE JARE KILODE!”

The Yoruba expression, loosely translated as “Please, leave me alone, what’s the issue?”, quickly caught on online. For many fans, the message perfectly captured Davido’s state of mind: calm, unbothered, and focused on peace rather than pressure.

The post has since gone viral, with members of the 30BG fanbase applauding his carefree attitude in the middle of intense global attention.

Many noted that even without a Grammy win, Davido still managed to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with international heavyweights, including Bad Bunny, who made history with the first Spanish-language Album of the Year win.

Once again, Davido proved that beyond awards, influence is measured by presence and at the 2026 Grammys, his presence was impossible to ignore.
