Zlatan reveals how fatherhood has changed him.
Nigerian street hop artist, Zlatan Ibile has spoken candidly about how becoming a father has influenced his outlook on a variety of topics, including his music videos.
Zlatan revealed that there are some things he used to be able to perform in the past but can no longer do now that he is a father during an interview on the Afrobeats podcast with Adesope Olajide.
He further stated that he is no longer able to create some of the videos he produced before becoming a parent.
The musician continued by saying that while he was once viewing some of his older YouTube videos, it suddenly dawned on him that his son would eventually be watching them and that he would have to correct him if he did anything insane.
“There are some things that I can do some years ago, now I can’t do. There are some videos I make when I didn’t have a child.
“I can literally go on the streets and start dancing to my song.
“After I gave birth to my son (Shiloh); one day, I was on YouTube and I was just thinking that my son will grow up to watch this.
“How will I be able to correct him when he is doing some crazy stuff?” Zlatan said.
