Nigerian Afrobeats singer Zinoleesky has disclosed why Mayorkun and Busiswa were chosen for the remix version of ‘Kilofeshe.’
The talented Nigerian outstanding singer, songwriter, and recording artist, Oniyide Azeez, popularly known as Zinoleesky, has revealed why he featured DMW superstar Mayorkun and South African vocalist Busiswa on the remix of his mega-hit ‘Kilofeshe.’
The interview was shared via Youtube on Wednesday, the 3rd of November 2021.
In an interview with CloutAfrica, the Marlian music singer revealed that he had always wanted to feature Mayorkun on a song.
According to him, after releasing the smashing amapiano tune “Kilofeshe,” a couple of his friends advised him to put Geng hitmaker (who was on a killing feature run at the time) on the song’s remix, so he reached out to the Mayor of Lagos for the remix.

When asked why Busiswa from South Africa was included in the song, Zino simply replied that the remix required someone with an original amapiano sound, as the genre is dominated by South Africans.
In addition, the 25-year-old artist stated in the interview that he would prefer to write a new song than re-record an existing one.
He also assured his fans that he will keep releasing successful tunes for them to enjoy.
