South African singer, record producer and businessman Zakes Bantwini, born Zakhele Madida, has hit a major milestone by reaching 100,000 YouTube subscribers. Over his two decades in the music industry, the acclaimed musician and producer has consistently stayed at the top, marking numerous achievements along the way.

Reflecting on his journey, Zakes credits his ability to evolve with the industry, stating, “That’s why after 20 years, I’m still on top.” He highlights his music video for The Ghetto, which he directed himself, as a defining moment in his career. “It’s really my story, and the feedback from fans has been overwhelming. That’s been the highlight.”

Regarding his recent YouTube success, Zakes humbly shared, “I didn’t realize how big of a deal it was until now. I’ll probably celebrate with dinner, and maybe throw a party later on.” He teased exciting future content for his subscribers, saying, “My channel will focus more on dance music, and you’ll see exclusive interviews and more content with my team.”
