Young man who received 400k from Skiibii for his girlfriend’s hair invest in her business instead
A Nigerian couple who gained notoriety after receiving a whopping N400,000 from musician Skiibii last year has provided an update on how the funds were used.
Recall that Mp3bullet.ng reported that Skiibii had blessed a young man that braided his girlfriend’s hair in October 2022 since he could not afford to buy her a human wig.
He posted a video on social media demonstrating how he surprised his partner with a new hairdo. The girl agreed when her boyfriend asked her to let her hair down since he wanted to take her somewhere.
They boarded a bike to a saloon where he paid the hairstylist to do a simple cornrow for her. When they got home, the girlfriend wasn’t happy with the work the hairstylist had done, so her boyfriend decided to braid the hair for her.

Near the end, the guy promised that when he has the money, he will buy his lover a wig. Skiibii was drawn to the video after it went viral and gifted him N400k to purchase his lover a wig.
The couple posted on social media to express their gratitude for the gift, praising God and the singer of “Baddest Boy” simultaneously. However, they claimed that the amount of money was too much for them to utilise to get a wig.
In a recent video that has gone viral online, the young man disclosed that they eventually used the funds to expand his babe’s business.
