Young Jonn Teases his possible debut Song for 2023.
Young Jonn recently gave a sneak peek of an unreleased song that might possibly be his debut song for 2023 on his social media accounts.
The singer who made it to Mp3bullet.ng’s Nigerian Artists To Watch Out For In 2023 list made a breakthrough in 2022 with songs like “Dada” and “Xtra Cool” and fans are anticipating what he has in store for them in the new year.
On Monday night, the singer of “Dada” posted a video of himself grooving to an unreleased song on his Instagram page.
Young Jonn did not divulge the title or the date of the new song’s release but it’s likely this would be his first song for the year.
“Shout out to my mummy. Happy new Year,” he captioned the post.

In a 2022 interview with Audiomack, Young Jonn described how he first met Olamide and Pheelz and how his life changed after he created the rhythm for Olamide’s song “Story For The Gods.”
According to him, he used to hang out at a spot called ‘Hit Factory Studio’ with other producers such as Pheelz.
He said that Olamide recorded his albums “YBNL” and “Baddest Guy Ever Liveth” at the studio.
“Olamide eventually invited me to his place to work and record a couple of songs, but on my way out, I mentioned that I’d sent him a beat a while ago and didn’t get any feedback,” Young Jonn said.
“He asked me to play one of them, which just happened to be the beat for ‘Story For The Gods’.
“Even though we had already recorded two songs that day, he asked me to load the beat up.
“Olamide recorded the chorus and first verse that day.
“By the next morning, he’d done the second verse, and the song was out some days after. That’s when my life changed.”
