Nigerian singer and producer Young Jonn has shed light on his relationship outlook, admitting that he is currently not ready to settle down or commit to one woman.

Speaking on the Way Up podcast with Angela Yee, the Dada hitmaker explained that he prefers to keep things “platonic” rather than dive into a serious relationship.
“Everybody loves love. I mean, love is wonderful. But I’m not really in that space where I can give so much of me to one person. So, I’m just keeping it platonic with everybody,” Young Jonn said.
“I don’t want a serious relationship right now. Because I feel like I won’t be able to give that person as much as I’m supposed to. So why put them in that situation?”
The 30-year-old artist added that he is focused on his personal journey and music, noting that he is not in a phase where deep commitment is possible.
Young Jonn’s remarks come shortly after reports of his breakup with Adenike Adeleke (Nikos Living), a cousin of superstar Davido.
The pair fueled dating rumours in early 2024 after Nikos shared cozy pictures online, but by August 2025, signs of a split surfaced when they unfollowed each other on social media and deleted their photos together.
For now, the singer says love is not off the table entirely, but he prefers to enjoy connections without the pressure of commitment.
