“You are digging your own grave” – Jaywon blasts Odumodublvck for saying Eedris Abdulkareem didn’t pave way for him
In a recent video, popular Nigerian singer Jaywon criticized rapper Odumodublvck for his remarks, claiming that Eedris Abdulkareem did not pave the way for him in the music industry.
During an interview on media personality Teju Babyface’s show, Jaywon expressed his disagreement with Odumodublvck’s statement, suggesting that it could harm his career in the long run.
The controversy began when Eedris Abdulkareem criticized Burna Boy for claiming that no one paved the way for him in the Nigerian music industry. In response, Burna Boy lashed out at Eedris, attributing his success to financial support he received during his health struggles.
Odumodublvck sided with Burna Boy, asserting that Eedris Abdulkareem did not pave the way for anyone in the industry.
During the interview with Teju Babyface, Jaywon expressed his fondness for Odumodublvck while expressing disagreement with his stance. Jaywon argued that Odumodublvck, as an artist, should not deny the influence of veterans like Eedris Abdulkareem, even if Burna Boy had made similar statements.
Jaywon questioned how Odumodublvck would feel if an artist from Abuja claimed that he had not paved the way for them, highlighting the importance of acknowledging the contributions of those who came before.
