Yinno-C, a Cameroonian born singer/rapper has always had the talent and passion for music. He was born in Bamenda, Cameroon where he was musically influenced by their rich culture and extensive musical background. He moved to the United States when he was 17 years old and joined the church choir where he met a friend who played the guitar.
Together they formed a two man band. They wrote songs and played shows at local venues around town for years. During this time he shared the stage with so many great acts and he was once an opening act for the legendary Cameroonian musician Emile Kangue.
In early 2013 while studying engineering at a University, he recorded a few songs on the side including “Savannah” which he released on social media. The song “Savannah” gave him some buzz and he caught the attention of a renowned Nigerian producer Chordratic in late 2014. Chordratic was particularly impressed by Yinno-C’s unique musical style, his versatility and his ability to combine catchy hooks with rap lyrics. Chordratic and Yinno-C joined forces and recorded “Dance”, which is an energetic party dance song as the tittle suggests. Yinno-C looks to maximize his talents as a musician and continuously create fun melodic dance party tunes.
The future is very bright for this young talented artist and with his unique abilities, he will be a force to be reckoned with in the African music industry. Be on the lookout for him.
