Yemi Alade Teases Her 10th studio album with ‘Tomorrow’
Afropop superstar Yemi Alade has released a new single titled “Tomorrow,” an upbeat track that underscores the importance of hope and the promise of a better day.
The song emphasizes the gift of another day to achieve what couldn’t be done today and encourages trust in divine guidance despite the uncertainties of the future.
Produced by Yasso, this vibrant and positive track is the first single from Yemi’s upcoming tenth album, set for release in 2024.
Speaking about the release, Yemi Alade shared, “Tomorrow is a timeless piece that honors the aspirations of the future and the ongoing pursuit of turning them into achievements. This is a dedication to all those envisioning brighter days, serving as an anthem for champions.”
Yemi Alade, who is thrilled to present this new body of work, has said that the forthcoming album will be a fusion of several genres meant to appeal to listeners all over the world.
“I created this album with the sole purpose of creating music I grew up loving and the variety I have grown to love now. I was inspired by the core African music of Highlife and different genres that got us excited as Africans,” she explained.
Her upcoming record will add even more to her already impressive resume and increase her impact worldwide. Together with her African Train Band, she is scheduled to perform in the lead role at a concert at Zenith, Paris – La Villette, France on September 21, 2024.
