Yemi Alade has joined her fellow celebrities like Banky W, Wizkid, and P-square to speak against the National House of Assembly’s plan.

The “Shekere” asked that what happened to invest in the Education, Health, Power Sector, Agriculture, and Security Sector.

Lamenting about the Nigerian Government, Yemi Alade wrote,

How Do we get HEARD AND TAKEN SERIOUSLY By our Government? Who do we talk to?
I was advised to tweet directly at them, they ignored and their twitter bulldogs were barking. We CALLED but were ignored.i’m tired #weAreTired. Can someone in the Government at least acknowledge our needs?

#27billion on Renovation, what happened to education, health sector, power sector, Agriculture, federal and state roads, POLICE and the MILITARY?

Let's all move to Aso Rock, so that we can partake in the renovation. Make our 27billion enter back our hands.

Somehow, the same callous and greedy SYSTEM OF RULE our ancestors experienced in the hands of colonialists was ADOPTED AND FORTIFIED by our Governments. They are so blind to the pain and deaf to the cries of their Citizens .

It's no COINCIDENCE that since the time of Mariam Makeba ,Fela ,Majek Fashek till date, We still record songs about this same treacherous rule we are experiencing #CriminalInAgbada
