    Yemi Alade has responded to a fan who asked her to have more collaborations with more female artists this year via Twitter.

    When a fan requested Yemi Alade to do collaborations with more female musicians, she basically told him to mind his own business.

    On Sunday, January 23rd, 2022, this went down on her Twitter profile.

    Yemi Alade has been one of the most influential figures in bringing Nigerian music to the global stage, with her music being popular throughout Africa and even some parts of Europe.

    Mama Africa, as she is affectionately known by her admirers, has released five studio albums and two EPs to date.

    In a recent video, the singer was seen in the studio with rapper Zlatan Ibile, implying that they will be collaborating on a new single.

    When Yemi Alade uploaded a photo on Twitter recently, a fan advised her to pursue more female collaborations especially with someone like Tiwa Savage because the industry is largely male-dominated.

    The artist basically told him to mind his own business in response.

    The follower wrote;

    “Yemi Alade u should try collaborating with other female artistes this year, especially with Tiwa Savage; The music industry is male dominated & barely gives room for females to thrive which is more reason why u ladies should stick together as one, it will boost ur music careers.”

    She answered;

    “Oshey ! lucozade boost . Path finder! Career coach! Feminist! Torch bearer of female musicians ! Counsellor! Oya rest ! 2022 just started! Don’t give me work!”
