Yemi Alade prays for Super Eagles ahead of AFCON finals
Afrobeat superstar Yemi Alade has expressed her prayers for the Nigerian squad as the country anxiously awaits today, Sunday, February 11, 2024, as they play in the African Cup of Nations finals between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and Ivory Coast.
Yemi Alade, who was present at the 2023 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) opening ceremony in Ivory Coast (Côte d’Ivoire), showed her support for the Super Eagles on social media on Saturday, February 10, 2024.
She cautioned against any potential “bad luck handshake” that might have an impact on the team’s performance, though, in her message.
