Meanwhile, Wizkid has failed to win in the two categories he was nominated for in the 64th Grammy awards.
Recall, Mp3bullet.ng reported that Wizkid was nominated for Best Global Music Performance at the 2022 Grammys alongside fellow Nigerians Femi Kuti, Burna Boy, and Tems. Also nominated in that same category was Beninese legend, Angelique Kidjo.
Starboy’s ‘Made In Lagos’ album has also been nominated for Best Global Music Album at the 2022 Grammys, along with Femi Kuti and Made Kuti’s Legacy +, Angelique Kidjo’s Mother Nature, and Rocky Dawumi’s Voice of Bunbon Volume.
Unfortunately, he lost the first which is the Best Global Music Performance to Arooj Aftab and the second, Best Global Music Album to Angelique Kidjo.
