Wizkid’s 2018 hit song, ‘Soco’ has been certified gold in Canada.
“Soco” is a song written by Wizkid himself alongside three other Nigerians artists, Terri, Spotless, and Ceeza Milli.
It was released in February 2018 and went on to become one of the biggest Afrobeats songs of that year.
Now, 2 years later it’s being certified Gold in Canada for selling over 40,000 units.
It’s the first song by a Nigerian Label to do this as it was released independently by Starboy Entertainment.
