Award-winning Nigerian singer and songwriter Wizkid has recorded another streaming milestone with his album More Love, Less Ego, which has now amassed over 250 million streams on Spotify.

This achievement further cements Wizkid’s position as one of Nigeria’s most streamed artists globally, reflecting his enduring influence in the Afrobeats genre.
Released in November 2022, More Love, Less Ego blended Afrobeats, R&B, and Amapiano influences, showcasing Wizkid’s signature smooth style.
The album, which features hit songs like Bad To Me, 2 Sugar featuring Ayra Starr, and Money & Love, quickly became a favorite among fans. It also boasts collaborations with international and African stars such as Skepta, Don Toliver, Shenseea, and Naira Marley, broadening Wizkid’s appeal beyond the African continent.

With this latest milestone, More Love, Less Ego becomes Wizkid’s fourth album to surpass 250 million streams on Spotify. It joins his previous successful projects—Made In Lagos, Sounds From The Other Side, and Ayo—in achieving this feat. The only Nigerian artist ahead of Wizkid in this category is Burna Boy, who has five albums that have crossed the 250 million stream mark.
Despite being a more experimental and laid-back project compared to Made In Lagos, More Love, Less Ego has continued to resonate with audiences worldwide.
As the streaming numbers keep climbing, Wizkid’s dominance in the global Afrobeats space remains stronger than ever.
