    Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, Wizkid, has reached a new achievement with his song “Essence,” which he wrote with Tems, as it becomes the first African song to set the record in the US.

    After selling over 3 million copies in the US alone, the hit song “Essence” is now officially the first and only African music to ever receive a 3X platinum certification from the RIAA.

    Big Wiz has demonstrated that with good music, the globe will always tune in, as seen by the records “Made In Lagos” and the smash song “Essence” have continued to shatter.
