Since the recent Grammy Awards, Wizkid has received a lot of attention, which is helping his music.
The Nigerian afro-fusion superstar Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, known professionally as Wizkid, has hit a new milestone with his album titled “Ayo” as it regains the top spot on iTunes after 8years.
The 19-track album, which was released in 2014, features smash tunes like “Ojuelegba,” “Jaiye Jaiye” and a host of others.

According to a recent update, the Afro-fusion record has reclaimed the top spot on iTunes Nigeria after an eight-year absence.
This might be a result of the recent campaign to get one of the visuals of the song off the project ‘Ojuelegba’ to fifty (50) million views on YouTube.

In addition, Big Wiz Wizkid was defeated by Arooj Aftab, a Pakistani vocalist residing in Brooklyn in the Best Global song performance and by Angelique Kijo in the Best Global World Album, at the 64th Grammy Awards on April 3, 2022
