The iHeartRadio Titanium Award honours musicians whose popular songs have received one billion cumulative spins on iHeartRadio stations by the year 2022.
Total audience impressions, which is the broadcast equivalent of the amount of streams from a streaming music service, are calculated using certified Mediabase airplay, total audience spins, and the number of people listening to the radio at the time of those plays.
kudos to Wizkid for doing this!
Meanwhile, Wizkid has recently set a new record on the music streaming platform, Pandora. On the platform, which is solely available in the United States, he has accumulated over 300 million cumulative streams.
Starboy Wizkid is now the first African musician to receive the most Pandora listens thanks to his most recent accomplishment.
The “Ojuelegba” hitmaker broke a comparable milestone on the same streaming platform in June 2022, becoming the most streamed African artist after accumulating 200 million streams.
