Reactions trail Wizkid two mansions in Lagos worth N2.4billion, Ola of Lagos sheds more light
Nigerian music icon Wizkid has once again found himself in the spotlight following revelations by popular Instagram influencer and car enthusiast Ola of Lagos.
According to Ola, Wizkid owns two luxurious mansions on Lagos Island, each valued at ₦1.2 billion, making a combined worth of ₦2.4 billion.
This disclosure counters the long-standing narrative among fans that Wizkid doesn’t own a house in Nigeria, given his frequent stays in foreign countries such as the UK and USA. His return to Nigeria during the festive “Detty December” season often fuels these debates.
The conversation escalated when a Davido fan, identified on X (formerly Twitter) as “Davido Police,” shared a photo of Wizkid’s house in Lagos.
Mockingly, the fan captioned the post, “See Wizkid house for Lagos, make the God avoid me,” expressing disapproval of the mansion’s appearance and surroundings.

The post went viral, drawing reactions from fans and even Ola of Lagos, who stepped into the conversation to clarify the situation.
Addressing the user’s criticism, Ola confirmed that Wizkid owns both the mansions shown in the picture, stating, “I’m tired of this social media 🤦♂️ make the God avoid you? Omg 🤦 he purchased those houses for ₦1.2B each and he bought both, left and right…. Situated in one of the most expensive areas on the island… make the God avoid you….
The pressure y’all put on public figures is too much tbvh…… Is too much…. Una go just come online to talk anyhow… make una remember say they’re humans too ooo 👍 take care.”
Ola’s remarks highlight the growing pressure celebrities face online, as fans often jump to conclusions without full information. His statement also underscored the immense value and prestige of Wizkid’s real estate investments in Lagos.
While Wizkid has yet to address the speculation, the revelation has further cemented his status as one of Nigeria’s wealthiest and most influential artists, with fans and critics alike marveling at his taste for luxury.
